SACAQM invited to meeting with the Deputy Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation at the 15th SA-CERN celebration.


SA-CERN, South Africa's collaborative partnership with the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN), marked its 15th anniversary with a celebration at iThemba LABS in Cape Town. The event highlighted South Africa’s contributions to groundbreaking scientific research and the opportunities CERN provides for local communities. SACAQM showcased its innovative AI_r system during the event, which drew representatives from academia, government, students, and press members. The Deputy Minister of Science, Technology, and Innovation delivered a keynote address reflecting South Africa’s 15-year journey with CERN. A photo captured the Wits University team alongside representatives from Evotel, AfricaWeather, Trax, and Jemstech, who attended the celebration to honour this milestone.
