Professor Bruce Mellado discusses the team's current work in particle physics and the cost-effective AI_r device. The one objective of this air-quality monitoring system built using the Internet of Things and artificial intelligence is to deploy a dense network in locations where the big and expensive stations are not covered to identify the poor air quality hotspots. The real-time data from these devices can be integrated into the predictive model, enabling accurate forecasting of near-future air quality.
